Paris St-Germain strikers Neymar and Kylian Mbappe still top Real Madrid President Florentino Perez’s list of targets, and the club has money to buy them, according to reports.
Spanish news outlet AS has reported that Real have €372 million that could be spent on a marquee signing.
The club sold Cristiano Ronaldo in the summer to Juventus, but failed to sign a high-profile replacement. They tried to sign Neymar but it is said that Al Khelaifi, who runs PSG, refused to do a deal – even though its thought the Brazilian was keen on the move.
However, come January, Real May launch another attempt to sign one of the pair.
AS also noted that there are ambitious plans to redevelop the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, which could impact on the club’s ability to splash out on galactico signings in the future.
Of course, it is also still possible that PSG will refuse to do business with Real.
