Paris St-Germain have rejected huge offers from both Real Madrid and Barcelona for their star forward Neymar.

The Spanish clubs are both desperate to do a deal – and Neymar is believed to want a to return to Spain – but the perennial Ligue Un champions are reluctant to sell.

Barcelona have reportedly offered PSG €100 million plus Philippe Coutinho. Meanwhile Madrid have reported made several player-plus-cash offers involving Gareth Bale, James Rodríguez and Ivan Rakitic. All have been rejected by PSG.

However, this is unlikely to be the final bid from either side. PSG are understandably holding out for as much as they can get and will want a deal worth at least as much as the £198 million they paid Barcelona for Neymar two years ago.

This transfer saga is likely to run until the transfer window closes on September 2
