Liverpool and Manchester United are both considering making a bid for Real Madrid’s out-of-favour forward Isco this summer, according to reports.

Isco has fallen out of favour at the Bernabeu this season. He has made just 5 starts in La Liga and scored only one goal.

With Madrid planning a major shake-up of playing staff this summer, Isco could be one of the names sold by manager Santiago Solari to bring in cash to fund the anticipated spending spree.

Italian newspaper Tuttosport has claimed that Liverpool and Manchester United are interested in taking the 26-year-old to England. The paper also said that Juventus are also interested in a potential deal.

Isco has won 4 Champions League titles with Madrid since he joined from Malaga in 2013.

At 26, he should be in the peak years of his career, and with a contract that runs until 2022, Madrid could command a hefty fee for him. When previous rumours of potential deals for Isco have emerged, fees of up to £100 million have been mentioned. But, considering his fall down Los Blancos’ pecking order and their plans for a squad revamp, then a lower off could secure his signature.
