Perennial Serie A champions Juventus are preparing to make a £120 million bid for Manchester United star Paul Pogba, according to reports.
Juventus want their former star back as the club seeks to build a side that can win the Champions League, according to The Times.
Real Madrid are also known to be interested in the French star, with manager Zinedine Zidane known to be a big fan of his countryman. It has been thought Madrid prefer a player-plus-cash deal for Pogba, with Welsh star Gareth Bale a potential makeweight in the deal.
Pogba is believed to want to leave United – he is on record saying he could fancy a new challenge – and a move to Madrid or Turin would doubtless appeal to him.
However, United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer appears determined to hold on to the World Cup Winner and is thought to see him as a vital part of his side for next season as they seek to regain a spot in the Champions League. He is expected to join their pre-season tour too.
It seems this transfer saga could run for some time yet.
