Italian champions Juventus have made a bid for Paris St-Germain star Neymar as they try to gazump Spanish rivals Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Juve have offered PSG £95 million and forward Paulo Dybala, according to Spanish newspaper AS.
Neymar has been the subject of a tug-of-war for his signature by Barcelona and Real Madrid all summer, with various bids involving cash and a variety of players said to have been made and rejected by PSG.
Barca have recently loaned Philippe Coutinho to Bayern Munich so have a space in the squad free.
Madrid have been revamping their squad over the summer, spending more than £300 million on new players, but Neymar would be the icing on the cake.
It was thought the race was between the Spanish clubs but now Juventus are serious contenders. The prospect of Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo in the same side would be mouthwatering too as they seek to finally win the Champions League.
However, whether PSG will sell is another matter. They have consistently rebuffed bids from Barcelona and Real Madrid and will want a deal worth north of the £198 million before they even consider selling one of their prized assets.
