Ambitious Everton have offered Crystal Palace a players-plus-cash deal for their talisman Wilfried Zaha, according to reports.
The Sun says Everton are offering the Eagles £65 million plus striker Cenk Tosun and winger James McCarthy for the Ivorian winger.
Toffees boss Marco Silva is apparently desperate to sign Zaha as the club bid to break into the top 6 this coming season.
However, whether this package – said to be as much as Everton are willing to offer – is enough to tempt Eagles bosses remains to be seen. They value Zaha at £120 million.
The player himself is rumoured to want to leave Selhurst Park for a club challenging for Europe.
Arsenal were interested but couldn’t afford the money up front and instead plumped for Nicholas Pepe in a £72 million deal. Other clubs, such as Bayern Munich and Napoli have been said to be interested but are yet to bid.
